Many of the main media outlets are talking about how Manchester United are targetting Neymar Jr. Not such a secret now is it?
The Sun newspaper claims to have the scoop that United have made a ‘discreet approach’ to Treble champions Barcelona about the possible transfer of the clubs hero.
The tabloid claim that chief executive Ed Woodward has been to Barcelona three times over the past 30 days, and that it wasn’t all about Pedro Rodriguez. Of course we all know that’s probably not the case and United were indeed really keen on signing Pedro but were beat in the end by Chelsea.
The Sun now claim that Woodward’s Barcelona visits secretly involved talks concerning Neymar, not Pedro.
It will be interesting to see how this one unfolds over the coming weeks. Where would Neymar feature for United if you were the manager?
